Nutmeg Whole

Nutmeg is the seed of the nutmeg tree (a tropical evergreen). Nutmeg has a slightly sweet taste and makes a wonderful addition to cheese sauces as well as many other recipes. It is used often in Indian and Middle Eastern cuisines.
